Izora, is an Alternative Pop-Rock music artist. Born and raised in India, Izora began to develop her growing passion as a singer and songwriter. Through the guidance of her parents, she was introduced to a variety of genres and notes that music has always been a part of her life. Some of her influences include Linkin Park, Panic! at the Disco, Billie Eilish, Sasha Sloan, and Eminem.
Gaging her future audience while trying to explore her musical style. Having gained some social media presence from previous releases and features in Teen Music Insider and Buzz Music LA, 17-year-old alternative artist Izora returns bigger and better than ever with her third single Grey. Her upcoming release Grey is an embodiment of her synaesthesia which makes her use colours to describe various emotions. The song describes the state of mind of an individual when they are attracted/infatuated to a person. The track is heavily inspired by Lana Del Rey’s style of calm and heavy music.
Izora shared what it means to be an indie music woman artist:
“I’m a huge advocate of women uplifting women in music. I believe we have soo much to offer and yet are suppressed. To be a woman in music for me is all about expressing myself and empowering other women. I try to work with female producers for the majority of my tracks. I’m proud to be a woman in music.”
