Lana White is a Huntsville AL singer-songwriter who makes a unique impact with her soulful, Indie soft-rock sound. Her writing style is inspired by bands like The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, Amanda Shires, Emerson Hart, and Patty Griffin.
She has recorded and released 4 albums of original music over the last 5 years, the last of which was back in 2018. Lana is excited to announce the release of Evergreen, her latest EP that launched on August 21st, which is available on her website for digital download or physical cd purchase. It will be available on all streaming services by Sept. 4th!
Lana’s music has been played on terrestrial and college radio in the U.S., as well as airplay in the U.K. and Australia. Lana also wrote and recorded theme songs for two podcasts: “The Retro Cinema Podcast” – A show dedicated to the movies from the 1980s, and Fours A Crowd – An upcoming sitcom about four 30 somethings sharing an apartment after heartbreak and skyrocketing rent.
Lana loves doing specialized songwriting and hopes to do more theme songs in the future. For now, you can find her on Instagram and Twitter mostly, sharing about her day to day life as an indie musician.

Lana shared with me what it means to her to be an indie music woman artist:
“Being a female indie musician means I am in control of my brand, image, social media content, and the production of my music. I love having an outlet for my creativity, and being in charge of how it comes across to an audience.”
You can hear the title track off Lana’s new EP, Evergreen, on the Indie Music Women’s Spotify playlist.
