Indie Music Women’s Featured Artist of the Day is…
Pheebz
We asked Phoebe-Praise what it means to her personally to be an indie music woman artist:
“I’ve never thought about this, actually, but pondering on it right now, I’d say I’m thrilled for the journey ahead. What does it mean for me to be an indie woman artist? It means I can be my quirky self without my label pushing to become someone I’m not. I’ve seen many female Ghanaian artists rise, suffer being overly sexualized and then fade away. I’m determined to make a name that never fades.”
Pheebz – a singer-songwriter hailing from Ghana, with a talent that’s impossible to ignore. From a young age, Pheebz knew she was destined to make music, and with every note she writes, she’s proving that her passion is worth pursuing. With a sound that’s uniquely her own, Pheebz blends her Ghanaian roots with soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics to create a sound that’s as inspiring as it is relatable. Her songs tell stories that everyone can connect with, and her voice has a raw power that leaves you hanging on every word. Her art is a reflection of who she is, and she’s not afraid to be vulnerable and share her struggles with the world.
While she may not have the fame and fortune of some of the industry’s biggest icons, Pheebz is on the rise, and her journey is only just beginning. With a unique sound and a genuine passion for her craft, she’s a force to be reckoned with – and you won’t want to miss out on her journey to the top. Just know when you hear Pheebz, you are about to swept off your feet.
