Theo Bleak is a self-produced artist living in Dundee, Scotland. Having just released the EP ‘iliad’ in May 2023 she is currently working on her fourth EP, which is set for release around Halloween. Over the last year, she has supported artists such as Noel Gallagher, Suede, and Joesef at both UK and EU dates. She is influenced by many things, including literature, soundtracks, and her favourite artist Jeff Buckley. Her style has been described as ‘brutally honest’ and she states that her intention is to simply ‘write about her life’. (Bio courtesy of Theo)
Theo shared with us what it means to her personally to be an indie music woman artist:
“It has certainly not been without severe hurdles but I feel it has only made my music even more brutally honest. I live and breathe music and have since I was a child. Other women hold me up in this industry and I just hope to keep writing honestly and profoundly.”
